Despite losing six seniors from 2009, the young Columbus Academy team showed skill and talent in its first outing at the Annual Kick-off Classic. Lead by senior Alyssa Sheer, the Academy Vikes made a strong showing as they served, bumped and spiked against Tree of Life Christian, Linden McKinley and Fairfield Christian.
