I hope you are all enjoying your summer. Two important dates that are coming up:
1. June 26th-June 30th from 9:00-11:30 AM: Summer Experience Volleyball camp. We are expecting around 20-25 campers this year from 2nd grade to 8th and always are in need of volunteers to help out as well as get a ball in their hands and have an opportunity to play. The girls will also receive service hours for the time that they put in.
2. Team Camp: July 17th-19th from 5pm-8:00pm. I need to get a final head count and tee-shirt size ASAP. Please shoot me an email with tee-shirt size.

Open Gym and Summer Lifting
Good Afternoon,
I hope all is well and exams are running smoothly. Two more days!!! Open gym went great last week, the girls all got a chance to meet our newest member of the coaching staff, Andy Snouffer! Coach Snouffer comes to CA with a lot of positive energy and coaching experience. We are all very excited to have him on board.
Open Gyms: Will be every Wednesday this summer starting on the 14th of June from 6:30-8:30. Understandably family vacations are a part of summer break :), but if you are in town please make an effort to be there.
Summer Lifting/Conditioning: The strength and conditioning coach Mark Hammond will be working with all athletes on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9:30 am to 11:30am. This is a very valuable (and free) asset even if you are only able to attend some, or for even part of the time. He will be working on speed and agility on the turf for the first half, strength training in the middle, and conditioning at the end.
Whew! I can't believe the school year is almost over:)

As summer is quickly approaching, I wanted to get you information on team camp. Very similar to last year, we will hold team camp at Columbus Academy and bring in college coaches from Otterbein University. Camp dates will be: July 17th-19th from 5pm-8:00pm. The price will be around $35 and includes a t-shirt. Please try to schedule vacations around these dates as they are the kick off to the season!
